Job Summary

Sustain and extend the lifecycle of RF test and measurement products by redesigning end-of-life components and updating analog/RF/microwave circuitry. Partner with manufacturing to incorporate DFM inputs, conduct failure analysis with root-cause investigations, and develop debug tools and training for production. Deploy redesign projects to the Penang T&M manufacturing site to meet release dates, while ensuring product calibration and measurement performance during NPI and ship-and-ramp.

Key Responsibilities

•Redesign end-of-life parts in NI RF test measurement products to extend product lifespan and maintain revenue.
•Re-design circuitry across low-frequency analogue, power supply, RF and microwave, including discrete and IC-based topologies.
•Integrate DFM inputs from manufacturing to improve product yield and quality.
•Perform failure analysis to root-cause early VnV and manufacturing build issues, and create debug tools and training materials.
•Deploy redesign projects into Penang T&M manufacturing to meet customer demand by release date, including providing training and debug guides for MFG techs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related) degree in Electronics or Telecommunications.

•Ability to travel to Austin for training and project discussions with R&D.
•Experience with failure analysis/root cause analysis and hand-on problem solving is preferred.
