Job Summary

Drive a ready-mix concrete truck equipped with an auxiliary mixer to load materials under the hopper and deliver concrete to job sites. Operate the truck controls to discharge concrete into chutes and conveying containers, assemble chute components as needed, and clean and protect the truck after deliveries. Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels, maintain DOT-compliant paperwork, and follow safety procedures while working nights/weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the truck under the loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, concrete, and water, and start the mixer.
•Transport and deliver concrete to job sites for unloading and placement.
•Move levers to release ready mixed concrete down the truck chute into conveying containers or directly into pour areas.
•Clean and spray the truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening and adhering.
•Inspect truck equipment and supplies, maintain paperwork, and drive safely while following DOT rules and safety procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid Class B CDL license and ability to pass a DOT physical and substance test.

•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to drive safely and courteously, follow DOT rules, keep paperwork in order, and maintain clean, working equipment.
