Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the AI technical agenda across pursuits and serve as the senior technical voice from engagement through deal closure.
  • •Conduct cross-functional technical discovery to map customer AI programs and ensure safe, compliant integration of the governed core.
  • •Prepare high-impact technical demonstrations and deliver customer AI reference architectures integrating Workiva’s platform into customer ecosystems.
  • •Share field insights with product, engineering, and leadership to shape and align on the AI roadmap.
  • •Represent Workiva in the market through executive briefings, industry events, and thought leadership around Workiva’s AI posture.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of technical, customer-facing experience in presales solution consulting, solution architecture, or technical consulting, including at least 3 years in enterprise AI architecture.
  • •Undergraduate degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • •Hands-on modern AI expertise (RAG, agentic systems, MCP, and model evaluation/selection) plus enterprise data architecture skills.
  • •Write clean code for API interaction and perform technical testing for groundedness and quality.
  • •Understand AI governance and security risks (e.g., prompt injection, exfiltration) and support audit readiness for regulated, machine-generated outputs.
