Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transport planning projects and proposals, including both technical and commercial inputs.
  • •Lead and coordinate tasks within a multi-disciplinary team from concept to delivery.
  • •Undertake transport statements, transport assessments, environmental statement transport chapters, construction traffic management plans, and travel plans.
  • •Lead technical discussions on accessibility of project/construction sites and articulate impacts and required mitigations for planning approvals.
  • •Perform technical review and checking of deliverables, and represent WSP’s values in a collaborative client/consultant environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in active travel and/or public transport, transport programme/scheme development and/or business case development.
  • •Experience developing transport-focused strategies, plans, and policies.
  • •Experience working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients.
  • •Experience managing and coordinating transport assessments and strategies for major and/or complex projects.
  • •Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
