Job Summary

Design next-generation, AI-driven experiences for public safety users, owning the end-to-end process from user research through high-fidelity UI delivery. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to plan and synthesize usability research, prototype and validate ideas, and maintain a global design system (including component libraries). Use AI tools and workflows—including LLM-based synthesis and AI product experience design—to create transparent, trustworthy AI interfaces across mobile and web.

•Envision, prototype, and deliver comprehensive software solutions for in-field users across government, public safety, and enterprise sectors.
•Plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing to uncover insights and validate design decisions.
•Create pixel-perfect UI designs and contribute to, maintain, and build components within the global design system.
•Utilize AI tools to optimize the end-to-end research, ideation, prototyping, and delivery pipeline.
•Design human-centric interfaces for AI-based features and products, ensuring AI behaviors are transparent, trustworthy, and easy to use.

•Strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on UX research planning, execution, and translation into actionable design strategies.
•Experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI-driven synthesis, wireframing, or prototyping tools) to streamline the research-to-delivery lifecycle.
•Advanced visual/UI design skills, including building, scaling, and maintaining component libraries and design systems (e.g., Figma).
•Proven track record designing and launching AI-powered products or features (e.g., predictive UI, smart recommendation engines, NLP search).
•Ability to present complex ideas clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and developers, with experience designing for mobile and web applications.
