Job Summary

Oversee and direct operations of an aggregate mining crew, managing personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials. Supervise crew work to ensure proper placement of resources, complete daily reporting, and maintain accurate job records for schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, and safety inspections. Lead weekly safety Toolbox Talks and internal inspections, coordinate labor needs through the Plant Manager, and collaborate with Quality Control to meet specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and direct operations of an aggregates mining crew, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials.
•Supervise and direct crew to ensure proper placement of resources and correct field calculations.
•Complete required daily reporting and maintain job records for schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, and safety inspections.
•Conduct weekly safety Toolbox Talks training and internal safety inspections to ensure safety policies are followed.
•Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships, coordinate labor requirements through the Plant Manager, and work with Quality Control to meet specifications.

Key Requirements

•3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
•Proficient with Windows, Excel, and Word.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondences.
•Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required, and work nights and weekends as necessary.
•Strict adherence to safety requirements/procedures and company policies and procedures.
