Key Responsibilities

  • •Define technical needs and present concepts, study results, and solutions to clients and internal teams.
  • •Produce, verify and approve bids, quotes, plans, reports and other technical deliverables.
  • •Supervise and support the work of technicians and drafters as a technical reference.
  • •Certify engineering and load calculations according to applicable standards (CSA, Hydro-Québec, CLRSS, ISO, etc.).
  • •Design plans and specifications for distribution and telecom projects (aerial and underground).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering;Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (mandatory);More than five (5) years of experience in electrical distribution networks (mandatory);Experience in design of shoring and civil structures per Hydro-Québec standards;Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE;Knowledge of tools used by Hydro-Québec Distribution and telecom providers (SIG, Agil, SAP/PS, SimPAS, SimBT, DUSS, DUC2);Excellent command of French (oral and written);Valid driver's license – class 5
