Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct competitive patent and non-patent literature research, including state-of-the-art and landscape analysis.
  • •Perform technical investigations in specialized technology fields to generate actionable IP intelligence.
  • •Analyze patent and non-patent literature to provide insights into a given product/technology field and the competitive landscape.
  • •Run patent portfolio analysis (including SWOT) and perform industry/competition benchmarking on technology and IP.
  • •Generate innovation and strategy insights, publish periodic insights, and prepare IP/patent due diligence studies for business scenarios.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's in a relevant Engineering/Technology discipline or a Master's in a related Science.
  • •At least 4 years of substantive experience creating IP intelligence and insights in a consulting firm or in-house department.
  • •Conduct rigorous technical investigations and analyze patent and non-patent literature for state-of-the-art and landscape research.
  • •Ability to interpret IP signals in the right business context and synthesize findings into clear “so-what” implications.
  • •Excellent English communication (oral and written) and concise articulation of insights, including data visualization proficiency.
