Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production solution delivery by delivering production-grade systems, reference architectures, and custom applications including data ingestion and ML/AI model integration.
  • •Guide transformational customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications, scoping work with input from engagement managers.
  • •Empower customers on architecture and design by bootstrapping or implementing customer projects that drive evaluation and adoption of Databricks.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Embed with customer teams, collaborate with Databricks technical teams, project managers, architects, and customer support, and contribute accelerators/frameworks that scale across accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfort writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • •Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in at least one.
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark (including Spark runtime internals) and familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
  • •Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs, with experience designing and deploying end-to-end production data architectures and applications.
