Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate TEM tools to perform timely, high-quality analysis and produce in-depth reporting for semiconductor devices.
  • •Collaborate with customers to interpret or present TEM results, identify defect root cause, establish failure models, and define counter measurements and validation plans.
  • •Partner with the Ops team to improve TEM sample quality and develop sample-prep BKM for advanced techniques.
  • •Identify opportunities and lead projects to improve analytical work quality, TAT, and cost.
  • •Perform level-appropriate TEM tool maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or higher degree in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Hands-on experience with structure analysis tools.
  • •Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and device physics, with prior experience in materials physics and chemistry.
  • •Ability to conduct scientific research on novel semiconductor defect issues and write scientific papers.
  • •Experience with defect root-cause analysis and failure modeling is desired; in-depth knowledge of advanced node process integration is desired.
