Job Summary

Manage, configure, and distribute IP/VLAN networks while designing and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Own LAN/WAN and VoIP operations, create automation scripts, and proactively troubleshoot issues before end users are impacted. Perform upgrades and migrations during the 11pm–4am maintenance window, validate firmware and new hardware, and maintain detailed documentation to support branch network implementations.

•Design and implement network devices and supporting services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
•Operate and maintain existing VoIP and data LAN/WAN networks.
•Create and manage automation scripts to improve solution delivery time and proactively identify network issues.
•Perform network migrations/upgrades in the 11pm–4am maintenance window and maintain detailed documentation, testing, and fault isolation/repairs.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in network communications, telecommunications, or related fields.
•Associate’s degree in Networking Technology or related field, or qualifying experience.
•Knowledge of computer hardware and networking components with strong problem-solving and detail orientation.
•Ability to communicate effectively, work independently or with a team, and exercise sound judgment.
•Experience with Cisco Meraki switches, routers, and firewalls; CCNA, CCNP, or Security+ is a plus.
