Senior Security Engineer

Assess and mitigate enterprise security risks by partnering with Akamai’s IT and engineering teams. Conduct network, application, and system security assessments, help design and deploy security controls, and perform compliance and policy-based investigations. Document security guidelines and provide security guidance to business units, emphasizing NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171. Stay current on adversarial techniques and support efforts with scripts, tools, and emerging AI automation.
