Own a domain end-to-end as the company’s most senior technical builder: design and ship the systems behind agentic AI for financial services, set the technical bar through hands-on engineering, and lead quality and velocity across domain pods. Run a pod directly, collaborate with Domain PMs, and drive measurable outcomes—spanning the AI runtime, agent experiences, integrations, evaluation, and platform reliability.

•Architect and build domain systems, writing code and setting the technical standard by example.
•Ship, review, and maintain quality and velocity across domain pods.
•Steer and unblock engineers and leads, growing technical capability without becoming a pure manager.
•Partner with the Domain PM on outcomes and the impact the domain delivers.
•Adopt an AI-native way of working by building on frontier models and embedding AI development tools for the domain team.

Key Requirements

•Be a senior-most individual contributor (Principal/Distinguished) or a hands-on technical founder among the strongest builders.
•Build core production systems at real scale and ideally lead a hard, ambiguous 0→1 or 0→GA bet by owning a company-defining system.
•Demonstrate category-defining range with the ability to articulate tradeoffs across every layer.
•Have deep credibility in AI and agents (or comparable domain depth) while staying hands-on in the code.
•BS/BA in Computer Science required (MS or PhD a strong plus); be San Francisco-based and committed to working onsite (H1B transfers welcome).
