Job Summary

Ensure safe, high-quality production in the injection molding department by optimizing machine settings, performing mold insert and size/color/material changeovers, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Monitor scrap accuracy and production flow, ensure repairs are completed promptly, and maintain compliance with GMP/HACCP and PPE requirements. Record production data accurately, partner with Quality Control to minimize downtime and scrap, and help meet departmental performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Optimize injection molding machine settings to improve cycle time and part quality.
•Perform mold insert changes and assist with size, color, and material changeovers.
•Troubleshoot mechanical issues (at I/P, Process Tech and Mold Tech level) and execute appropriate action plans.
•Monitor scrap accountability and minimize scrap levels while maximizing production flow.
•Ensure equipment repairs are completed properly and promptly; monitor for unsafe conditions and maintain GMP/HACCP and PPE compliance.

Salary: USD 24 - 30 hourly

Key Requirements

•2-3 years of injection molding process technician experience preferred.
•Mechanical and electrical inclination to troubleshoot equipment issues and determine action plans.

•Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or six months to one-year related experience/training (or equivalent).
