Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport and ensure the safety and security of detainees in custody in accordance with ethical standards and detention standards.
  • •Perform detention-processing, safeguarding, security, escort, and transport duties as required by the contract.
  • •Exercise surveillance and control to maintain order and discipline, including detainee guarding during transport and while receiving medical care.
  • •Complete vehicle inspections, conduct area security and sanitation checks, and maintain accurate transportation/processing logbook entries and equipment inventory.
  • •Carry authorized intermediate weapons and qualify/complete required defensive tactics and course training, ensuring compliance with use-of-force and safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •High school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background and consumer credit check, and obtain/maintain a DHS/ICE Government clearance.
  • •Be at least 21 years old and maintain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement (including ability to obtain a Class-B CDL with passenger endorsement).
  • •Pass pre-employment and random drug tests and a medical exam; meet health and physical fitness requirements.
  • •Exercise good judgment and be able to follow and interpret written and verbal orders while writing clear incident/narrative reports.
