Job Summary

Deliver end-to-end corporate actions and custody-related servicing within the Securities Service Operations (SSO) team, ensuring accurate and timely processing across domestic, regional, and international markets. Monitor announcements, scrub and reconcile data, submit instructions for mandatory and voluntary events, and support tax reclaims, proxy services, income management, cash/FX settlement, and second-level SWIFT validation. Escalate issues, manage client and stakeholder queries, and improve controls, KPIs/KRIs, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform end-to-end corporate actions processing in line with regulatory and compliance requirements, focusing on accurate and timely execution to enhance client experience.
•Monitor and process corporate actions daily across domestic, regional, and international markets for mandatory and voluntary events across a range of products (equities mutual funds, fixed income, hedge funds, structured funds, and ETFs).
•Handle moderately intricate to extremely complex corporate action events, including receipt of announcements, data scrubbing/comparison, client notifications, reconciliation, and posting of accruals/entitlements.
•Manage client and stakeholder queries and communications with markets, sub custodians, agents, companies, depositories, brokers, and issuers to ensure smooth corporate actions processing.
•Support Asset Services and operational tasks including tax reclaims, proxy services, income management, cash/FX settlement validation, second-level SWIFT processing/authorization, and second-level reconciliation while monitoring KPIs/KRIs and compliance/audit standards.

Key Requirements

•University graduate/Bachelor’s degree (or 5 years related work experience).
•5+ years of related experience in security services and/or back-office operations, including managing corporate actions and securities settlements.
•Solid understanding of security services operations and accounting activity related to security services.
•Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining controls and risk parameters.
•Specific experience in securities functions such as Client Services, Corporate Actions, Settlement, Data Maintenance & Billing, or Custody Account Opening (added advantage).
