Job Summary

Own legal intake, contracts, and security/compliance workflows for an AI meeting product. Be the first point of contact for subpoenas and government inquiries, coordinating outside counsel and maintaining clear status tracking. Review and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and partnerships while building playbooks to speed deals. Drive customer security questionnaires end-to-end, and provide product law guidance on privacy, consent, recordings, biometrics, and evolving AI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as first point of contact for subpoenas, depositions, and civil/government inquiries, coordinating intake through outside counsel when needed.
•Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and strategic partnership agreements while maintaining a preferred-clause playbook.
•Own customer security questionnaires end-to-end, improving turnaround time and building a centralized Q&A source of truth.
•Advise on product decisions with legal implications, keeping key legal documents current as the product evolves.
•Translate technical realities (data flows, encryption, AI model usage, storage) into clear contract language and support compliance/trust conversations.

Key Requirements

•3–5+ years in legal operations, AI law, contract management, or paralegal work, preferably in SaaS or AI.
•Comfort independently owning redlines with sound judgment on when to escalate.
•Technical fluency to understand architecture notes, APIs/security posture, and ask the right questions.
•Familiarity with privacy/security/AI considerations such as GDPR/CCPA/BIPA and SOC 2.
•Strong writing, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.
