Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule to keep operations running smoothly and minimize downtime.
  • •Inspect, set up, test, and visually verify machinery operation; listen for unusual sounds and diagnose malfunctions with supervisors.
  • •Dismantle faulty equipment, replace or repair parts, and restore machinery to full functionality.
  • •Clean, lubricate, and maintain mechanical components such as bearings, gears, and shafts to prevent wear and tear.
  • •Assist production/quality teams with troubleshooting and support facility repairs/maintenance to keep the plant clean, safe, and organized.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance; or 4 years direct experience in that environment.
  • •Vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and follow oral and written instructions.
