Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Safety, Ergonomics, and Management of Change activities aligned to site safety goals.
  • •Generate and revise manufacturing processes and manufacturing work instructions for production and development hardware.
  • •Design and maintain tooling and electronic test equipment; use DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power sources for testing and troubleshooting.
  • •Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) improvement and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
  • •Support capital expenditures by defining needed equipment, obtaining supplier quotes, and developing ROI; partner on nonconformances and yield issues across teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of electrical component manufacturing or testing experience, or an Associates/Technical degree with 5 years of experience.
  • •Prior experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
  • •Ability to perform safety, ergonomics, and Management of Change activities in support of site safety goals.
  • •Experience troubleshooting/designing electrical test apparatus for production use and working with digital/analog circuit testing.
  • •Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR; no relocation is being offered and candidates must reside within a 70-mile radius of Orchard Park, NY.
