Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare IFRS-compliant statutory financial statements for all entities, liaising with external auditors through sign-off.
  • •Set and maintain group accounting policies and own group legal entity consolidation (intercompany eliminations, FX translation, consolidated reporting in NetSuite), continuously improving consolidation as the entity structure evolves.
  • •Own the month-end and year-end close calendar and review reconciliations and judgemental accounting positions ahead of finalisation.
  • •Own tax compliance and transfer pricing accountability, act as primary contact with Holtzbrinck group tax, and manage relationships with external tax advisors and local compliance accountants.
  • •Lead and develop the Accounting, Tax & Corporate Reporting team, oversee audit processes, and deputise for the CFO on accounting, tax, and audit matters when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in statutory reporting, tax, and technical accounting.
  • •Proven track record owning the external audit relationship and delivering clean, timely statutory accounts across multiple entities.
  • •Strong working knowledge of IFRS, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and consolidation.
  • •Experience managing tax compliance and transfer pricing in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environment.
  • •People leadership experience developing accounting teams.
