Job Summary

Support and troubleshoot complex semiconductor equipment used in advanced chip manufacturing, providing high-visibility on-site customer support for installations, diagnostics, service, and repair. Partner with customers and R&D to develop leading-edge plating processes, run hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics, and compile clear technical conclusions. Perform root-cause analysis and resolve difficult process and customer product issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide high-visibility customer support via on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
•Collaborate with customers to develop leading-edge plating processes for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing.
•Create hypothesis experiments and perform DOE; analyze data with statistics and compile reports with technical conclusions.
•Troubleshoot complex problems, perform multiple root-cause analyses, and resolve difficult process and customer product issues.
•Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve goals and build trust; serve as a resource to junior colleagues and a liaison between the customer and business unit.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or related field.
•4–7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in plating.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus among stakeholders.
•Ability to work closely with the customer at the customer’s site/cleanroom daily.
•Knowledge of best practices to offer a new perspective using existing solutions.
