Key Responsibilities

•Lead implementation of sustainable design standards across digital infrastructure projects, embedding requirements from inception through delivery.
•Monitor and drive improvements in data center sustainability metrics (PUE, WUE, CUE) and support due diligence for new developments, including permitting requirements.
•Evaluate and help implement technologies that enhance energy, water, and operational efficiency, such as AI-driven energy management, water reuse, high-efficiency systems, and onsite renewables.
•Own strategy for measuring and reducing embodied carbon, including low-carbon material evaluation and whole-life carbon assessment adoption.
•Support broader sustainability initiatives and reporting (Scope 1–3), shape sustainability communications, and manage relationships with consultants and certification bodies.

Key Requirements

•8-12 years of progressive experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG strategy, preferably in data centers, cloud infrastructure, technology, or energy.
•Deep knowledge of data center energy consumption, cooling systems, and operational efficiency metrics (PUE, WUE, CUE).
•Expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD) plus experience leading GHG accounting, lifecycle assessments, and green building certifications.
•Proven success developing and executing enterprise-wide sustainability programs that deliver measurable environmental and business outcomes.
•Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting complex environmental data to diverse audiences.
