Job Summary

Provide technical leadership and design authority for major bridge projects, guiding delivery of complex river crossings and long-span structures for freight, rail, and heavy-haul infrastructure. Conduct high-level technical reviews, design certification, and risk management while ensuring compliance with AS 5100, Austroads, and MRWA. Support bids and proposals, strengthen client relationships, and mentor engineers while representing the business at meetings and industry forums.

•Act as Technical Lead / Design Authority for major bridge projects.

•Lead and oversee compliance with AS 5100, Austroads, MRWA, and project-specific requirements.
•Support bids, tenders, and proposals and mentor senior and emerging engineers while building client relationships.

Key Requirements

•15+ years’ experience in bridge and major infrastructure design.
•Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – Engineers Australia.
•Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards.
•Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment.
•Ability to provide clear technical direction and professional judgement.
