Key Responsibilities

  • •Run sprint planning, daily coordination, review, and retrospective to a consistent standard.
  • •Maintain sprint scope discipline by preventing unplanned work from entering mid-sprint; track velocity and missed commitments.
  • •Maintain and refine the backlog so work is defined, estimated, and ordered before entering sprints; resolve competing stakeholder demands.
  • •Sequence delivery across parallel functional areas and resolve dependencies with data engineering and platform teams early.
  • •Report delivery status accurately to program leadership, maintain realistic metrics, and support program reporting and customer demonstrations.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Scrum Master or delivery lead for a software engineering team building a product (not maintaining one).
  • •Experience on a multi-discipline team spanning design where design is on the critical path.
  • •Ability to manage a backlog (definition, estimation, prioritization) and keep work scope discipline through sprints.
  • •Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve dependencies on teams outside your own.
  • •A current agile delivery or Scrum certification, plus a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; Public Trust eligibility and US citizenship required.
