Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and optimize the existing credit risk portfolio in France, including monitoring performance and exposure.
  • •Improve underwriting and credit risk management processes for France.
  • •Own credit lifecycle activities from origination through collection and recovery, including liaising with lawyers for litigation.
  • •Perform and oversee detailed credit analysis and approve exposure limits within delegated authority, defending decisions at Credit Committee meetings.
  • •Engage with Front Office, Onboarding/Compliance, and other regional teams; proactively manage pipeline work and ensure SLAs are met while implementing new underwriting practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7+ years of credit underwriting experience, preferably in the SME space in France.
  • •Strong understanding of local accounting principles.

  • •Experience building, leading, and training credit risk management teams and frameworks with day-to-day management and monitoring.
