Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance SAP’s intelligent metering solution for the German utilities market, continuously adapting it to legal changes defined by the German Federal Network Agency.
  • •Independently design and architect scalable, AI-native application systems using advanced RAG pipelines and multi-agent evaluation/benchmarking frameworks.
  • •Optimize latency, throughput, and cost efficiency across systems while strengthening scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • •Analyze complex customer issues and guide/implement corresponding solutions to ensure smooth operation of the solution.
  • •Partner with platform, data, and AI teams to design robust, production-ready solutions and improve system integration.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in distributed systems and scalable application/system design with performance optimization, cost management, and troubleshooting.
  • •Proficiency in system design for scale, resiliency, and fault tolerance, including agentic engineering patterns.
  • •Strong ABAP development experience (ABAP objects) with preferably RAP and BOPF experience.
  • •UI5 Fiori knowledge and SAP Web Services know-how.
  • •German language proficiency at C1 level for regular interaction with local customers and German regulatory stakeholders.
