Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop technical solutions for hazardous materials assessments, building abatement and deconstruction designs, including drawing and NMS specification development.
  • •Supervise and direct drawing development and review designs for hazardous materials work, taking professional responsibility.
  • •Prepare design documentation such as technical letters, memorandums, reports, drawings, and detailed design packages.
  • •Prepare project specifications, contract documents, construction packages, and construction cost estimates.
  • •Support supervisory and coordination efforts with junior and intermediate staff on client and subcontractor communication and management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental etc.).
  • •8+ years of related experience in hazardous materials and building abatement projects.
  • •Proficient technical writing for detailed design reports and regulatory document submissions.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA and/or NAPEG.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
