Job Summary

Develop and support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) side-by-side extensions for a large global SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will design, build, test, deploy, and cut over BTP applications, services, workflows, APIs, and integrations, aligned to Clean Core and Fit-to-Standard. Collaborate across SAP S/4HANA technical, Fiori/UI5, integration, security, and testing teams, and produce documentation for deliverable approval and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop SAP BTP side-by-side extensions that preserve Clean Core while addressing approved business process gaps.
•Develop BTP applications, services, APIs, workflows, and integration components using approved enterprise architecture patterns.
•Consume SAP S/4HANA APIs/services (including CDS-based, OData, RAP services) and business events within BTP applications and extensions.
•Configure and support BTP connectivity (destinations), authentication/authorization, role collections, secure communication, and environment-specific deployment needs.
•Support end-to-end delivery activities including SIT/UAT/regression/performance testing, cutover, hypercare, knowledge transfer, and operational transition support.

Key Requirements

•6-10 years of overall SAP technical or cloud development experience, including 3-5 years of hands-on SAP BTP development.
•Experience in at least one or two SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation programs using SAP BTP for application development, workflows, APIs, integration, or extensibility.
•Hands-on SAP BTP application development and connectivity, including destinations, authentication/authorization, role collections, and deployment concepts.
•Strong understanding of Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, RAP-based service exposure, and BTP side-by-side extensibility aligned to Clean Core.
•Experience with SAP BTP workflow/orchestration capabilities and integration with REST/OData/APIs and SAP Integration Suite, plus testing and deployment support (SIT/UAT/cutover/hypercare).
