Job Summary

Data scientist specialized in Performance Modeling, Graphs, Formulation and AI to join the Data Science team across a portfolio of innovations in food, perfumery, beauty and health. You will perform graph and tabular ML, build predictive models, develop agentic AI tooling, and translate model outputs for business decisions, contributing to commercialization opportunities while working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply machine-learning modelling with graph data science including Neo4j Cypher queries, traversal logic, GraphRAG, knowledge graphs and embedding vectors.
•Develop ML models on tabular data with feature engineering, cross-validation design and multivariate statistical interpretation for business decision support.
•Build, validate and maintain predictive performance models using diverse data sources across business units.
•Develop and test agentic AI tooling, including Azure, Bedrock, artifact generation, storage/processing, unit testing, and prompt engineering with structured outputs.
•Deliver production-quality code in Python (pandas, polars, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn), FastAPI, and Git, with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration on PRs.

Key Requirements

•Ph.D., master’s degree or similar experience in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Structural Biology, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
•5+ years of additional academic or industrial work experience in the chemical industry, bio- and cheminformatics or formulation space.
•Demonstrated experience working in high-performance teams, fostering collaboration, and guiding technical work to successful outcomes.
•Record of accomplishments demonstrating high drive and keen entrepreneurial innovation and ability to provide insights based on data analysis to inform business decisions.
