Key Responsibilities

  • •Own pre-training, evaluation, and metadata assets; shape their data strategy and expand them with new data sources.
  • •Maintain the short- and long-term data roadmap, manage the extraction backlog, and coordinate dependencies.
  • •Collaborate with scientists to explore how additional data improves model capabilities and translate experiments into concrete data needs.
  • •Represent the team’s data needs, influence internal provider priorities, and ensure delivery in the required scope and form.
  • •Enable compliant data use with Legal, Data Protection and Privacy, and Licensing, and perform hands-on data exploration and validation.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a relevant field, plus 5+ years of professional experience in data & AI environments.
  • •Experience leading cross-functional technical projects with data and ML deliverables and aligning stakeholders.
  • •Strong understanding of relational data, schemas, business entities, and enterprise data quality challenges; SAP business data and/or semantic models is a plus.
  • •Solid understanding of data management technologies (databases) plus working knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • •Solid ML understanding with experience interpreting experiments and exposure to model development; tabular ML is a plus.
