Job Summary

Serve as a lead engineer on mid- to large-scale rail projects for overhead catenary systems (OCS). Apply expertise in rail design, rail operations, and construction to plan, conceptualize, design, and deliver OCS engineering work such as layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local OCS regulations while supporting constructability and cost estimating.

•Serve as lead engineer on mid- to large-size rail projects.
•Apply knowledge of rail design/operations and construction for OCS, traction power substations, signals and communications, and track layout.
•Develop overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, and technical specifications.
•Support planning, conceptual engineering, design, final engineering, constructability, and cost estimating.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for overhead catenary systems (OCS).

•BA/BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering plus 10 years of related experience in railway systems (Overhead Catenary Systems/Traction Power/Track) or equivalent education/experience.
•Knowledge of rail design, rail operations, and construction, including overhead catenary systems, traction power substations, signals and communications systems, and track layout.
•Experience supporting conceptual engineering, design, final engineering, constructability, and cost estimating for rail systems.
•Preferred: 12 years of diverse experience in the rail industry.
•Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local OCS regulations.
