Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with a producer to prepare applications, specifications, and marketing strategy for new business and renewals for an assigned book of business.
  • •Provide professional, prompt customer service via phone, email, and walk-in inquiries for new and existing client accounts, including coverage, billing, claims reporting, and audits questions.
  • •Identify opportunities to grow revenue by finding additional lines of coverage, cross-selling internally across P&C, Group Benefits, and Wealth Management, and generating referrals.
  • •Maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, insurance carrier representatives, and NFP staff.
  • •Support client needs by coordinating information and service across the insurance lifecycle as part of day-to-day account management.

Salary: CAD 70,000 - 90,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •RIBO license is required.
  • •Typically more than 3 years of industry and product line experience in broking or underwriting.
  • •Extensive experience placing multi-line coverage for mid-market to complex accounts.
  • •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with a variety of people and work effectively in a remote team environment.
