Key Responsibilities

•Produce newscasts for broadcast and streaming channels
•Collaborate with Executive Producers and Show Producers to deliver fair, accurate and impactful coverage including but not limited to pitching enterprise story ideas that reflect the needs and interests of our local communities
•Write and edit content across all platforms include checking all scripts for accuracy, grammar, and punctuation
•Craft strong, compelling teases by curating and prioritizing content for a dynamic, engaging newscast
•Use desktop editing systems like Dalet and Adobe Premiere to edit video including breaking news

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years producing a daily newscast in a major market
•B.A. degree or equivalent experience in areas such as Journalism & Communications, or related field
•Strong writing, producing and desktop editing skills with the ability to write on deadline with speed and accuracy
•Proficiency with newsroom production systems and broadcast technology
•Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
