Job Summary

Provide independent legal advice to internal business units, especially sales teams, across civil, contract, and corporate law. Draft, negotiate, and review contracts from standard agreements to complex cross-border transactions. Support new product and process rollouts and contribute to cross-functional projects. Coordinate cross-border legal matters with external counsel and international units, and develop legal standards, templates, and pragmatic risk recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide independent legal advice to internal business units, particularly sales teams, across civil, contract, and corporate law.
•Design, negotiate, and review contracts ranging from standard agreements to complex cross-border transactions.
•Support legal aspects of introducing new products and processes and actively participate in cross-functional projects.
•Handle and coordinate cross-border legal questions in close cooperation with external counsel and international units.
•Identify legal risks early and develop and communicate practical recommendations for action.

Key Requirements

•Successfully completed the German first and second state exam in law (each at least “befriedigend”) along with several years of professional experience, ideally as an in-house counsel or in a commercial law-focused firm.
•Strong knowledge of civil, contract, and corporate law, with advantage for experience in the mobility industry or a comparable environment.
•Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and independent working style with strong communication and advisory skills.
•Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with national and international stakeholders.
•Negotiation-fluent German and very good English skills (especially Legal English); additional foreign languages are a plus.
