Key Responsibilities

  • •Training & Development: Support design, rollout, and delivery of components of the Global Annual Accounting & Reporting Department Training Plan.
  • •Strategic & Technical Guidance: Support accounting policy queries and review booking schemes for IFRS topics across Allianz Partners.
  • •Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with other departments to integrate accounting policies into broader business processes.
  • •Risk Management: Assist in developing financial governance processes and testing frameworks to strengthen reporting controls.
  • •Compliance & Standardization: Support standardization of global accounting policies and roll out consistent templates and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years+ PQE in Insurance, Accounting and Financial services industry or Audit.
  • •Hold a third level business degree.
  • •Professional qualification with a recognized accounting body (CPA, ACCA, CA, etc.)
  • •Strong IFRS Accounting policy knowledge (IFRS 17/9; non-financial data reporting would be an advantage).
  • •Fluent in English and able to express ideas clearly, with an automation/IT driven mindset and ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT in daily tasks.
