Job Summary

Manage the governance, optimization, compliance, and effectiveness of health and well-being benefits programs. Evaluate program performance using metrics and colleague feedback, analyze complex benefits issues, and implement continuous improvements to service delivery. Partner across HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and vendors to assess change impacts, interpret benefits regulations (ERISA/ACA/COBRA/HIPAA), support audits and reporting, and enhance colleague education and utilization.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate the effectiveness of health, welfare, retirement, and well-being programs and recommend enhancements to improve employee experience and support organizational objectives.
•Analyze complex benefits issues and determine resolutions by interpreting plan provisions, policies, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations.
•Partner with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to assess impacts of program changes and support implementation strategies.
•Lead initiatives and projects to improve benefits operations, governance, service delivery, and program performance through process optimization, controls, and continuous improvement.
•Interpret and apply federal and state benefits regulations (including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, IRS, and DOL) to ensure ongoing compliance and support audits, regulatory reporting, and plan documentation reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
•Proven experience in health and welfare benefits administration
•Experience working with outsourced benefits vendors and HRIS platforms such as Oracle and UKG
•Strong technical knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
