Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex mine water and surface water projects from conceptual planning through detailed design and construction support
•Develop and review site-wide mine water management strategies, including water balances and climate resilience considerations
•Deliver hydrologic and hydraulic assessments supporting mine operations, infrastructure, and closure planning
•Design and oversee surface water conveyance and control infrastructure such as channels, culverts, diversions, spillways, and ponds
•Mentor engineers and strengthen technical standards, best practices, and safety culture across the team

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in at least one Canadian province (multi‑province registration is an asset)
•Typically 12+ years of consulting experience in water resources engineering, with strong mining exposure
•Demonstrated leadership on complex, multidisciplinary mine water and surface water projects
•Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., HEC‑RAS, PCSWMM, MIKE, SWMM or similar)
