Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as local project manager to support overseas design center activities for new product development and implementation.
  • •Organize engineering sample building, arrange inspections for new components, and coordinate engineering testing per test plan.
  • •Track testing progress closely, report testing failures in detail, and implement and verify design improvements against testing failures.
  • •Work with suppliers to conduct DFM for new parts and communicate technical issues with the design center based on DFM findings.
  • •Create and maintain BOM in SAP, sign off FPI for new parts, and optimize assembly process and fixtures.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical or electromechanical background with a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in the power tool or household product industry.
  • •Proficiency in mechanical design and GDT calculation, with knowledge of mechanical materials, heat treatment, and manufacturing processes (plastic injection, die-casting, stamping, machining).
  • •Excellent communication skills and good command of English to communicate with overseas engineers independently.
  • •Good team player able to work in a cross-functional team under high pressure.
