Key Responsibilities

•Administer formal classroom training including classroom, laboratory/simulator instruction, examination administration and grading, trainee evaluation, and scheduling with department personnel.
•Support the implementation of an effective Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) that meets industry standards and is institutionalized into plant procedures.
•Support subject matter experts and vendors providing on-site and off-site training within the discipline area.
•Monitor operating experience and industry trends for potential training improvements and incorporate into lesson plans.
•Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all training conducted in accordance with procedures and criteria.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
•Two (2) or more years of relevant experience (training/adult education, heavy industrial or power plant, instructional design or curriculum development) is required.
•High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s/Associate degree.
•Current/previous SRO NRC license or certification for CEC or a similar unit from an accredited institution is preferred.
•Must reside within sixty highway miles of the Callaway Energy Center.
•Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.
