Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer formal classroom training including classroom, laboratory/simulator instruction, examination administration and grading, trainee evaluation, and scheduling with department personnel.
  • •Support the implementation of an effective Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) that meets industry standards and is institutionalized into plant procedures.
  • •Support subject matter experts and vendors providing on-site and off-site training within the discipline area.
  • •Monitor operating experience and industry trends for potential training improvements and incorporate into lesson plans.
  • •Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all training conducted in accordance with procedures and criteria.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • •Two (2) or more years of relevant experience (training/adult education, heavy industrial or power plant, instructional design or curriculum development) is required.
  • •High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s/Associate degree.
  • •Current/previous SRO NRC license or certification for CEC or a similar unit from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • •Must reside within sixty highway miles of the Callaway Energy Center.
  • •Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.
