Job Summary

Engineer and implement hardware and/or software solutions to resolve complex part or module failures and system issues across ASML’s China install base. Collaborate with local part supply centers, strategic sourcing & procurement, and Customer Support, while interfacing with development and D&E Field teams to share solutions. Provide 4th-line technical support and help build customer trust. The role spans multiple competence domains (electronics, light sources, mechanics, mechatronics).

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer and implement hardware and/or software solutions to address complex part/module failures and system issues in the China install base.
•Collaborate with local part supply centers (LPSC), strategic sourcing & procurement (SS&P), and Customer Support sectors.
•Interface with other ASML development and D&E Field teams to exchange knowledge and solutions.
•Provide 4th line support to regional technical teams.
•Contribute to building trust between ASML and its customers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics/Robotics/Systems and Control, or Applied Physics.
•Ability to diagnose and understand engineering principles of ASML scanner parts and modules.
•Develop hardware and/or software solutions for complex part/module failures and other system issues.
•Experience with engineering concepts such as PCB/embedded logic (FPGA and uC), PLC (or relevant competence-domain skills like electronics, optics/lasers, CAD/mechanics, or mechatronics).
•Fluency in English & Chinese is preferred, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
