Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cost control for the contracting entity, including monitoring anticipated final project costs.
  • •Manage and advise a team of intermediate cost managers/quantity surveyors.
  • •Prepare feasibility, preliminary design, and final design cost estimates for multidisciplinary railway projects.
  • •Review measurements and develop schedules of rates or bills of quantities.
  • •Assess materials and monthly payment certificates/final accounts, recommending monthly payments or final accounts due under contractual entitlement.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years’ experience, including at least 3+ years in the transport infrastructure industry focused on multidisciplinary railway projects.
  • •C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating management, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong ability to work with construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • •Experience delivering technically complex and high-value infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge of cost management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, including standard method of measurement.
