Key Responsibilities

  • •Tell the market’s weather stories that captivate viewers, emphasizing accuracy and hyper-local forecasting.
  • •Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service and other meteorological sources.
  • •Use MAX Reality/MAX Connect and produce 3-D models to integrate into creative storytelling.
  • •Produce weather segments for Telemundo and other NBCU stations, including post-forecasts for multiple news platforms in Spanish and English.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of experience as a television presenter.
  • •Degree in meteorology preferred, or commitment to obtain the degree within a contractual time period.
  • •Spanish-fluent (spoken and written).
  • •Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • •Ability to work flexible/long hours, including nights and weekends, for weather events; must be 18 years or greater.
