Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and treat occupational illnesses and injuries in the workplace, including first aid and emergency care within the RN scope of practice.
  • •Conduct post-offer medical history review and administer drug and alcohol testing per company policy.
  • •Manage OSHA and Workers’ Compensation recordkeeping using an electronic medical record, ensuring timely documentation and case management activities.
  • •Lead safety and wellness efforts, including membership on the Safety and Ergonomics committee, ergonomics initiatives, and wellness programs aligned to company goals.
  • •Coordinate care for workers’ compensation cases with adjusters, case managers, and providers, and communicate with medical, legal, and insurance personnel, including representation in workers’ compensation litigation proceedings.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of nursing experience; occupational health experience preferred.
  • •Registered Nurse with a current, active, unrestricted state license.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA standards and recordkeeping requirements.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate (written/verbal) and interact with internal and external customers.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with workers’ compensation administration/case management preferred.
