Job Summary

Partner with enterprise business unit leaders as the primary finance contact, providing timely reporting, meaningful analysis, and commercial guidance. Drive budgeting and forecasting (annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, pipeline/backlog, and working capital), deliver detailed P&L and variance analysis, and support project accounting, revenue recognition, and audit requests. Monitor KPIs and operational expenditure, prepare accruals and journals, and provide ad hoc insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary finance contact for the business group, advising on financial matters, business performance, and project financials.
•Support strategic planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and working capital requirements.
•Prepare and review P&L reporting to operating profit, including variance analysis and monthly management reporting packs.
•Monitor operational expenditure, review KPIs, and identify exceptions across pipeline, people, projects, and payment.
•Prepare accruals and accounting journals, and partner on project accounting, compliance, audit requests, and revenue recognition matters.

Key Requirements

•CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accreditation.
•5+ years’ experience in management accounting within project-based environments.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, contracts, and project accounting in a services environment.
•Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a large organisation.
•Advanced Excel capability and strong business intelligence reporting; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
•Experience using Microsoft Office, Power BI and KPI reporting tools.
•Ability to act as a trusted advisor to influence business leaders and support strategic goals.
