  • •Lead and manage the Data Platform Engineering team, owning end-to-end design, implementation, and operational excellence.
  • •Provide architectural guidance and technical contributions, setting standards for data modeling, processing, and maintainability.
  • •Build and optimize scalable data abstractions, pipelines, and frameworks that support enterprise growth.
  • •Translate complex and ambiguous business/data requirements into accurately scoped architectural pieces and roadmaps.
  • •Foster an AI-native engineering culture, integrating AI tools to automate and enhance data operations, including mentoring and conducting design reviews and RCAs.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years hands-on engineering experience focused on Big Data and distributed systems/infrastructure.
  • •2+ years managing engineering teams, building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • •Experience with batch data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and EMR.
  • •Experience with stream processing systems such as Kafka and RedPanda.
  • •Proficiency with data/platform technologies including Temporal, Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue, Spark, dbt, and Soda; preference for healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA, EDI).
