Key Responsibilities

  • •Support DE characterization activities such as T-Tests, Gauge R&R studies, and Round Robin evaluations.
  • •Perform sample testing and execute experiments in the lab or on the production floor, adapting procedures to meet complex requirements.
  • •Independently manage recurring tool health checks and operational responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years as a Development Engineering Technician I at First Solar.
  • •Associate’s degree in an engineering or similar technical discipline with 3 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years as a Development Engineering Technician I at First Solar.
  • •Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and/or electrical or optical measurements.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderate process and equipment issues in the production line or lab.
  • •Intermediate MS Office knowledge and some knowledge of SQL/JMP.
