Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide mechanical troubleshooting (including electrical), repairs, modifications, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation for ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • •Operate and maintain refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •Repair various facility equipment (production and non-production) and complete assigned work orders.
  • •Document completed work in the SAP maintenance system.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of refrigeration experience; manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment breakdowns, including electrical troubleshooting.
  • •Complete required safety certifications (lock out/tag out, confined space, fall protection, forklift).
  • •Be part of the HAZMAT team and pass the Respirator Level 4 physical annually.
  • •Complete Level 1 Operator training and maintenance training program to L4 within the designated timeframe.
