Job Summary

Support transaction advisers across pension risk transfer settlement transactions, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation solutions. Take ownership of transaction delivery to ensure timing and budgets are met while building relationships with key stakeholders. Advise clients on their “Journey to Settlement,” help pursue new business opportunities, and contribute to marketing and media initiatives. Join a 70-strong specialist Risk Settlement Group and mentor both direct and indirect reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Support transaction advisers on settlement transactions across the pension risk transfer market, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solutions.
•Run settlement transactions end-to-end, ensuring completion on time and on budget, and develop relationships with transaction stakeholders.
•Advise clients on their strategic “Journey to Settlement,” including market approach and feasibility.
•Support internal and external new business opportunities and initiatives.
•Support marketing and media engagement, help develop risk settlement propositions/strategies, and coach/mentor direct and indirect reports.

Key Requirements

•Track record of delivery on settlement transactions.
•Industry experience with sound technical capability in the settlement/pension risk transfer market.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Self-motivating and ambitious, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
•Attention to detail, with the ability to consider wider matters.
