Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches escalated from L1, performing root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • •Monitor and analyze security alerts/events from sources including SIEM platforms (e.g., QRADAR) and security dashboards.
  • •Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing to identify system and network weaknesses.
  • •Implement, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/AV, tokenization, HSM, and 2FA/PAM systems.
  • •Develop and enforce security policies/documentation, proactively threat hunt, collaborate with IT/development/L3 teams, report incident analyses/status, and support on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •3+ years of cybersecurity/information security experience with L2 support responsibilities.
  • •At least 1-2 years supporting mission-critical systems under a 99.9% SLA.
  • •Strong knowledge of security protocols, TCP/IP, network security, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security concepts.
  • •Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, vulnerability scanners (e.g., Tenable), and incident response tools; preferred certifications include Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
