Job Summary

Lead a cross-functional team on EPYC server validation for next-generation data center CPUs. Define validation strategy, manage platform execution, and drive end-to-end feature development with Architecture, FW/SW, validation, and customer engineering. Mentor and lead the validation team, prioritize assets, and ensure on-time delivery of samples and engineering collateral, while communicating progress to executives.

Key Responsibilities

•Defines program plans to meet product requirements within schedule, budget, and scope.
•Manages platform execution and reports on program deliverables and risks.
•Develops detailed validation strategy based on program complexity and feature set.
•Oversees end-to-end feature development, aligning with Architecture, FW/SW development, Validation and Customer Engineering teams.
•Drives Post-Silicon test plan development and execution to meet sample commitments and engineering collateral.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•Strong background in silicon validation including silicon design, architecture, validation, firmware and software development, platform debug and performance.
•Experience with HW/SW test tools, defect tracking, and version control systems; familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and hypervisors (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
•Knowledge of computer architecture concepts and silicon features; ability to lead program execution across hardware, software, and validation teams.
